Our approach
Privacy is a prerequisite for authority, and we treat it that way.
This document is not a wall of text designed to obscure what we do. It is a plain account of how we handle your information and why. We collect only what we need to serve you, deliver your course, and keep the platform working as it should. We do not sell your identity. You are the client, not the product.
Throughout this document, “we,” “us,” and “Authority Principle” refer to Motivatrz LLC. “You” refers to the person using the platform.
The information we hold
To deliver Authority Principle, we work with three kinds of information.
What you give us. When you enroll, you provide your name, email, billing address, and payment details. Where a course includes assessments or certification, you provide the coursework you submit. This is the information required to set up your access and serve you properly.
What our systems record. When you use the platform, our systems note your IP address, device type, and course progress. This is what lets the platform remember where you left off, keep your login secure, and issue your credential when you complete a course.
What our partners confirm. We rely on trusted infrastructure to operate, such as Stripe and PayPal for payments. These partners confirm to us that a transaction succeeded so we can grant your access. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
On minors. Our courses are built for professional adults. You must be at least 18 to enroll, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use your information
We use your information for specific, practical purposes:
- Delivery: to grant access to your course, track your progress, and issue your credentials.
- Transactions: to process payments, send receipts, and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.
- Improvement: to understand which parts of a course are working and which need refinement.
- Communication: to send course updates and support replies, and — if you have opted in — to tell you about new programs.
Cookies
We use cookies to make the platform work, to understand how it is used, and — where you allow it — to show you relevant offers. In simple terms, a cookie lets the site recognize you so you do not have to reintroduce yourself on every visit.
The full, current list of the cookies we use, what each one does, and how long it lasts is maintained in our dedicated Cookie Policy. That list is kept up to date automatically as our tools change, so it always reflects what is actually running on the site.
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can review or change your choices at any time through our cookie settings. You can also block or remove cookies in your browser, though doing so may make parts of the site less convenient.
Who sees your information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with the partners and parties who help us operate, and only as far as needed:
- Infrastructure: our hosting platforms, email providers, and payment processors.
- Legal compliance: authorities, where we are genuinely required to by law.
- Business transfer: if Motivatrz LLC is ever acquired or merged, client information would transfer to the new owner under the same confidentiality standards described here.
Your rights and choices
You hold real control over your information.
- Marketing: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the footer of any such email.
- Access and correction: you can ask to see what we hold about you, or to correct it.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep, such as tax and transaction history.
To make any of these requests, send a message through our contact form with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We verify requests to make sure they genuinely come from you.
For US residents
If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law, such as California under the CPRA, you have specific rights, including:
- the right to know what we collect and why;
- the right to access and delete your personal information;
- the right to opt out of the “sharing” of your information for cross-context behavioural advertising;
- the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these, use the same route as above: a message through our contact form with the subject line “Privacy Request.” If you want to opt out of cross-context advertising specifically, say so in that message, and we will honour it. Where your browser sends a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we treat that as a valid request as well.
We extend these rights to all of our students, wherever they live.
International students
We are headquartered in Wyoming, USA, and your information is processed in the United States. If you are accessing Authority Principle from outside the US, including the EU or UK, you are entrusting your information to be transferred to and handled in the United States, and we apply appropriate safeguards to protect it in transit and at rest.
If you are in the EU or UK, you also hold rights under your local data protection law, including rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection. You can exercise them through the same contact route above, and you have the right to raise a concern with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your information properly.
How long we keep information
We do not hold information longer than we need to.
- Course records: we keep your enrollment and certification records so you can always prove your credentials.
- Financial records: we keep transaction records for around seven years to meet tax and legal requirements.
- Marketing: we keep your email until you ask us to stop.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information. No digital system is ever completely impenetrable, but we treat your information with the same care we apply to our own.
Changes to this policy
As the platform grows, this policy may need to change. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, give notice. The current version is always available here, so you can read exactly what applies.
Contact
We are not a faceless corporation. If you have a concern, a question, or a request about your privacy, write to us.
